Mountain of the Dead: The Dyatlov Pass Incident

In February 1959, nine experienced hikers were killed while trekking in the Ural Mountains. They fled their tent at night without proper clothing, some suffering severe internal trauma while others died of hypothermia. Early investigations cited an “unknown natural force” to blame for their demise, the source of which has proven to become the subject of debate for over six decades.
